Our Ministry

“We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path,

so that our ministry will not be discredited.”

2 Corinthians 6:3

No matter what spiritual gift you have or think you may have, no matter what job you are currently performing for God, your ministry affects other people. As such, you have a responsibility not only to God but to other believers and unbelievers as well not to do anything that may influence others to sin or lead others astray.

It is an awesome responsibility to be a Christian. An enormous amount of weight is on our shoulders. Not only do we need to attempt to a live a life that is holy and pleasing to God, but we must also make sure that what we say and do does not lead a brother or sister to sin and lead a life that is unrighteous or unworthy.

When we choose to sin in front of another believer, we show the recklessness of our faith and risk shipwrecking their faith as well. After all, if the more mature believer has no problem sinning as such, then why can’t I? The more mature believers have a responsibility to lead in purity and holiness. Our light should shine the way for others to follow.
